CNC Turner Machinist

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:

We are looking for a CNC Turner Machinist for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Salary is £37,518.00 per annum - inclusive of shift allowance

This will be working days and nights shift pattern, working hours are Days - Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:30pm & 7:30am to 12:30pm on Fridays, Night shift is Monday to Thursday 9:30pm to 7:30am.

Duties and responsibilities

Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production timesRequirements

2 years machining experience with the oil and gas industry.
Experience of operating - CNC Lathes
Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle timesIn the first instance, send CV's to (url removed) or call (phone number removed) (option 1) for Engineering.
