Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a full-time role with a well-established precision engineering company?
We're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a modern machine shop manufacturing high-precision components for demanding industries. If you enjoy working to tight tolerances, solving machining challenges, and producing quality work, this could be the perfect opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing
* Set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components
* Produce first-off and production parts to exact specifications
* Set tooling and adjust machine offsets
* Read engineering drawings, GD&T, and machine programs
* Monitor quality and maintain tight tolerances
* Troubleshoot machining issues and optimise production
* Help ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience setting and operating CNC lathes
* Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
* Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
* Experience with ISO and conversational programming
* Knowledge of a range of CNC control systems
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
* Offline programming experience
* AlphaCAM knowledge
* Manual turning experience
* Experience using Faro Arm inspection equipment
* Experience machining fabricated or complex components
