We're looking for a talented Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering Team at West Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same, and where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on safety, reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement.
Working Pattern
This role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern:
Days: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 14:30
Afternoons: Monday to Friday, 14:30 - 22:00
Nights: Monday to Thursday, 22:00 - 07:00
Flexibility to support business and operational requirements is essential.

What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability
Supporting installation, commissioning and modification of machinery
Working closely with production teams to maximise performance
Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
Supporting a safe working environment through high engineering standards and best practice.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an enthusiastic engineer with strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Ideally, you'll have:
A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing or production environments
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
It would be great if you also have experience of:
FMCG, packaging or automated manufacturing environments
Welding and fabrication
CMMS systems such as SAP
Continuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
