Good Afternoon,
I am currently representing Waltham Forest Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Project Officer – Renters Rights Act this role will be: E17 4JF Hybrid Working
The right candidate will:
To develop and deliver specialist support/advice as part of a team of Project Directors, Managers and Officers delivering the implementation of the Renters’ Rights Act.
* Provide advice and make recommendations based on up-to-date knowledge and analysis/ evaluation of information.
* Manage escalated or complex customer issues within the relevant area.
* Contribute to the development of service plans to meet strategic business goals.
* Research developments in relevant area. Collate process and analyse information / data. Translate outputs into advisory reports / documents / actions as appropriate. Lead on the development, implementation, maintenance and management of systems, policies, procedures and / or standards within area of responsibility.
* Lead on the development, implementation, maintenance and management of systems, policies, procedures and / or standards within area of responsibility.
* Support the Housing Options & Support Service as directed in the operational requirements of the Renter’s Rights Act .
* Secure and provide accurate information for monitoring purposes on a regular basis and ensure that data management systems and project documentation are accurately and regularly updated.
We require the following:
* Experience and understanding of the Renters’ Rights Act and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
* Experience of project management, working to time, budget and quality in a large organisation.
* Experience of liaising with a range of internal and external partners.
