Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next opportunity with one of the UK's leading PLC residential developers?
Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially minded HR Advisor to join their busy People team on a 6-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established business, supporting managers across multiple departments while gaining exposure to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Role
Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you'll provide first-line HR support to managers and employees, ensuring a high-quality advisory service across the full employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
* Supporting managers with recruitment, onboarding and probation processes.
* Assisting with organisational changes and restructuring activity where required.
* Advising on HR policies, employment legislation and best practice.
* Supporting employee wellbeing, engagement and retention initiatives.
* Maintaining accurate HR records and producing HR reports.
* Working closely with HR Business Partners and wider business stakeholders.
* Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
* Previous experience working as a HR Advisor.
* Strong employee relations knowledge.
* Up-to-date understanding of UK employment legislation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience within construction, housebuilding, property or a similar commercial environment would be advantageous.
* CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
