Quantity Surveyor – Major Infrastructure Project

We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major UK infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity to become involved at the early stages of a high-profile scheme, offering long-term prospects and a collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Administer NEC contracts and manage commercial processes.

* Prepare, submit and agree valuations and applications for payment.

* Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts.

* Identify, manage and report project risks and opportunities.

* Produce cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates.

* Support change management and compensation event processes.

* Work closely with operational and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

* Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or major civil engineering contractor.

* Strong NEC contract knowledge and practical experience.

* Background delivering major UK infrastructure projects.

* Experience within sectors such as Energy, Power, Transportation, Nuclear or Highways is highly desirable.

* Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
