Our client, a key player in the water sector, is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and issuing accurate, timely, and compliant notices and correspondence
Identifying contractual and commercial risks and opportunities
Preparing and agreeing on applications for payment or assessing and preparing payment certificates
Maintaining registers of variations, delays, extension times, and claims
Implementing the company's commercial policies and procedures consistently
Assisting in the preparation of monthly progress valuations and claims for completed work
Interfacing with customer's commercial and project teams
Producing pre-contract tender negotiations and reports where necessary
Producing monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract leader reports
Advising on value management and risk management
Preparing supply chain enquiries, negotiating, administering, and finalising supply chain contracts
Planning and implementing change management and cost control
Job Requirements:
RICS accredited Degree
Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry
Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen
Experience drafting effective contractual correspondence
Proven negotiating and team-working skills
Strong analytical skills
Legal, contractual, and construction knowledge
