Our client, a renowned leader in the Data Centre industry, is currently seeking an experienced Data Centre Office Manager to join their project team in Blyth, United Kingdom. This role will support the day-to-day operations of the project office, ensuring efficient administration, office management, and business support activities across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the project office to ensure a smooth working environment
Oversee office space requirements, including layouts, facilities, and refurbishments as needed
Provide administrative support to management and department heads
Assist with the onboarding and induction of new employees
Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with office policies and procedures
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Maintain records, spreadsheets, reports, and other project documentation as required
Organise and manage office paperwork, filing systems, and administrative processes
Manage supplier contracts and service agreements related to the office
Coordinate office facilities to ensure all systems, equipment, and services operate effectively
Support the continuous improvement of office processes and procedures
Provide general business support and administrative assistance to the wider project team
Job Requirements:
Experience in an Office Manager, Business Support, Administration, or similar role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Experience in construction, engineering, data centres, or project-based environments is desirable
