Quality Engineer - Precision Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering

Location: Abingdon

Salary: Circa 50K – 55K + Benefits

Quality Engineer required by fast-growing, high-tech Manufacturing Company where quality truly matters!

This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of maintaining the highest manufacturing standards by inspecting complex mechanical components, programming and using CMMs, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001. You’ll work closely with production, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement across the shop floor

Essential:

* At least 5yrs recent experience as a Quality Engineer

* Able to interpret complex mechanical engineering drawings and determine appropriate measuring techniques

Nice-to-have:

* Good knowledge of programming CMMs

* PC-DMIS Level 2

* CMM: Hexagon S Chrome with tactile & laser heads

* ISO 9000 Auditor qualification
