Field HSE Lead
* 15 Month Contract (or until the end of the project)
* Based near Teesside
* Outside IR35
* Negotiable Day Rate - DOE
* Day Shifts / 5 Days Per Week
Ceto Talent are supporting a well-known Energy EPC Contractor delivering a major Carbon Capture project in Teesside.
Our client is responsible for pipeline installation and associated construction activities as the project moves through its final execution phase.
This is a key site leadership role, offering the opportunity to play a visible part in a high-profile energy transition project.
The Role:
As Field HSE Lead on site, you will manage a team of 3-4 HSE Advisors/1 PTW and report to the Project HSE Manager. Your role will be to implement site HSE management systems in line with Company, IOGP and ISO standards, including subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement site HSE management systems
* Act as HSE focal point and manage all site HSE matters
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and UK legislation
* Develop and lead the field HSE team
* Provide HSE advice and support to site and project management
* Coordinate with the environmental team onsite
* Lead accident and incident investigations
* Establish and manage HSE monitoring and audit programmes
* Lead risk management processes (HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments, etc.)
* Interface with clients, subcontractors and authorities
* Develop and maintain emergency response plans
Requirements to be considered:
* Must have significant HSE leadership experience on similar oil & gas, energy, nuclear construction projects.
* Must have both Offshore and Onshore Project experience.
* Must have experience working for a major Oil & Gas Operator/or alongside on previous projects.
* Must have worked previously for an IMCA-approved contractor
* Lead Auditor 45001 Certification
* NEBOSH Diploma or similar
