The Business
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Labourer on behalf of a well-established specialist engineering and industrial services company based in Stockton. Our client delivers high-quality services across a range of sectors and is looking to strengthen their team with a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys a varied role.
The Role
As a Labourer, you will play an important role in supporting site operations and ensuring projects run efficiently. This is a hands-on position that will involve working both on-site and travelling to customer locations when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out general labouring duties to support site operations.
Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
Performing manual handling tasks in line with health and safety procedures.
Removing waste materials and keeping work areas free from hazards.
Assisting with deliveries and distributing materials around site.
Collecting samples from customer sites, including occasional travel to Glasgow.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time.
Supporting different departments and adapting to a variety of tasks as required.
The Person
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
A valid CSCS Card.
A full UK Driving Licence.
A maximum of 3 penalty points on your driving licence.
Eligibility to drive company vehicles for insurance purposes (drivers must be aged 25 or over).
Previous experience in a labouring or site-based role.
Good awareness of health and safety practices.
A positive attitude with the flexibility to work across different sites.
The ability to carry out manual handling duties and work as part of a team.
A reliable, hardworking approach with excellent timekeeping.
