Location: Billingham
Immediate Start | Ongoing Work | Overtime Available
We are currently recruiting for a Labourer to join a busy fabrication and manufacturing site in Billingham. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable candidates looking for an immediate start with ongoing work and the potential for long-term opportunities.
Shift Pattern & Pay Rates
This role operates on a 3-shift rotating pattern:
6:00am - 2:00pm: £15.71 per hour
2:00pm - 10:00pm: £16.93 per hour
10:00pm - 6:00am: £17.60 per hour (includes shift premium)
Key Responsibilities
Dressing and finishing metal components to the required quality standards
Grinding, fettling, and smoothing metal castings
Safely operating hand and power tools
Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality specifications
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Previous experience in metal dressing, fettling, grinding, or a similar manufacturing role
Experience within a heavy engineering, fabrication, or foundry environment is desirable
Ability to work a rotating 3-shift pattern (days, afternoons, and nights)
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Reliable, hardworking, and available to start immediately
