We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run dealership in Reading seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop. This opportunity is ideal for skilled and experienced motor trade professionals eager to develop their technical expertise within a supportive and professional environment.

Conduct comprehensive service checks and diagnostic procedures on various vehicle makes and models
Perform repairs, maintenance, and testing, including MOTs (advantageous but not required)
Carry out wheel alignments ensuring workshop standards are consistently met
Maintain high standards of vehicle repair quality and workshop cleanliness
Provide excellent customer service and uphold the professional image of the dealership
Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop safety standards are maintained
Support other vehicle servicing and repair tasks as requiredRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Full UK driving licence
Relevant qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry
MOT testing experience is advantageous but not essential
Motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to expand technical knowledge
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality workmanship
