We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an independent, award-winning family-owned car dealer group established across the Southwest and the Home Counties, for a Vehicle Technician in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced motor trade professional seeking to advance their career within a reputable dealership.

Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am to 12:30pm, paid as overtimeDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles according to manufacturer standards
Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller
Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance through precise repair and servicing work
Adhere strictly to quality, health and safety, and manufacturer procedures
Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy dealership environment
Support team objectives and work towards individual and team targetsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Ideally, 1-2 years of practical workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
Hold a valid UK driving licence
Motivated individual with a professional attitude and good team skills
Capable of producing high-quality work within a fast-paced environment
Individuals with an active MOT Smart Card will have an advantage, but it is not essentialThis position offers a fantastic long-term career opportunity with a forward-thinking, family-owned automotive group.
