Assistant Quality Manager
Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm - 30 minute break
ASAP Start - 6 Months work
Salary equivalent to £37,000 - day rate of £142.31

Purpose of the Role
To support the Quality Manager by carrying out site quality inspections, recording findings, updating quality records and reporting on the standard of works across the contract.
Main Responsibilities
· Carry out quality inspections on completed and ongoing works.
· Visit sites to check work is completed to the required standard.
· Record inspection results accurately.
· Take photographs and gather evidence where required.
· Update spreadsheets and quality records.
· Produce simple reports showing inspection findings.
· Report any quality issues to the Quality Manager.
· Follow up on actions where improvements are required.
· Work with operational teams to help improve quality.
· Attend meetings when required.
· Follow company health, safety and quality procedures.
Skills and Experience
Essential
· Experience working in highways, construction or a similar environment.
· Good attention to detail.
· Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Good communication skills.
· Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
· Experience carrying out site inspections.
· Knowledge of highway maintenance standards.
· Quality or auditing experience
