Quantity Surveyor
Location: London / Norway - frequent travel required
Rotation: 10 days on, 4 days off

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an exciting project in Norway. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven construction professional looking to work on international projects within a dynamic and challenging environment.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project costs, commercial performance, procurement activities, and contract administration. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully while maintaining strong commercial control.
Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor -
Manage project cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
Prepare and review valuations, variations, and payment applications
Monitor project budgets and identify commercial risks and opportunities
Support procurement processes and subcontractor management
Review contracts, scope changes, and commercial agreements
Prepare accurate cost reports and financial updates
Work closely with site teams to ensure effective cost tracking and reporting
Assist with final accounts and project close-out activities
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsRequirements of a Quantity Surveyor
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, engineering, or industrial projects
Strong understanding of cost control, contracts, and commercial management
Experience working on large-scale projects is highly desirable
Ability to work independently within a site-based environment
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant QS software
Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Norway
Fluent English required; additional European languages are advantageous
