Join a Growing Building Services Contractor:
An established and fast-growing building services contractor are in the market for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.
Working across a variety of high-value M&E and construction projects, you'll play a key role from pre-construction through to final account, taking commercial ownership of multiple projects while working alongside experienced project delivery teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS looking for genuine career progression within a business that's continuing to grow.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for:
Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from tender through to final account.
Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
Preparing subcontract packages and placing orders.
Producing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
Managing variations and change control.
Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management.
Monitoring project budgets and profitability.
Supporting contract negotiations and ensuring contractual compliance.
Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project teams.
Attending commercial and project meetings.
What We're Looking For:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E, Building Services or Construction.
Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
Experience managing subcontractor procurement and valuations.
Confident with variations, cost reporting and forecasting.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
