We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable Main Dealer in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced motor trade professional to join a well-established dealership group committed to delivering high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Supportive team environment focused on quality and safetyDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on VAG Group vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults using approved diagnostic equipment
Complete warranty, retail, and internal repair work accurately within specified timeframes
Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed as a Vehicle Technician
Work efficiently to achieve high first-time fix rates and productivity targets
Follow all workshop processes, technical bulletins, and quality protocols
Keep diagnostic tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and operational condition
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including Service Advisors and Parts Department
Support junior technicians and apprentices as required
Uphold manufacturer standards and dealership policies at all timesRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Previous experience as an automotive technician within a franchised dealership or professional workshop
Full UK driving licence
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
