Salary: £38,000 - £40,500 per year

Aaron Manufacturing is a leading precision engineering company supplying high-quality components to customers within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear and oil & gas industries.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our Quality team.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys ensuring every component leaving the workshop meets exact customer specifications.

The Role:

Working closely with our machinists and management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring components meet customer requirements before dispatch.

Your duties will include:

Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
Producing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
Completing inspection documentation.
Using a wide range of precision measuring equipment.
Inspecting precision-machined components to tight tolerances.
Investigating non-conforming products.
Working with production teams to identify corrective actions.
Supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Releasing conforming products for dispatch.About You:

Essential:

Previous Mechanical Inspection experience.
Engineering or manufacturing background.
Experience inspecting precision engineered components.
Understanding of ISO9001 quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail.
Computer literacy.
Good communication skills.Desirable:

FAIR experience.
Aerospace quality experience.
CMM experience (if applicable).Why Join Us?
