HSE Advisor – Data Centre – Blyth
Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.
Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
* Ensure all site activities comply with UK HSE legislation and project-specific safety standards, maintaining a proactive and compliant safety culture across the project.
Site Audits & Risk Management
* Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing effective control measures in a high-risk construction environment.
Workforce Engagement & Training
* Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety briefings to promote awareness and ensure all personnel adhere to safe systems of work.
Incident Investigation & Reporting
* Lead the investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviours, producing detailed reports and driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Advisory & Stakeholder Support
* Act as a key HSE advisor to site teams and subcontractors, providing guidance, monitoring performance, and ensuring continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
Requirements
Must have relevant and recognised HSE Qualifications (i.e. Degree, NEBOSH etc.)
Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have UK Passport or RTW in the England
