Job Title: HSE Advisor
Location: Blyth, Northumberland
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Our client is a global engineering business with multiple sites in the North East. They are currently looking for a HSE Advisor to be based at their site in Blyth, on a full time, permanent basis.
As an HSE Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across site operations.

The HSE Advisor Role
As an HSE Advisor, you will work closely with employees, contractors, and project teams to ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained. The HSE Advisor will be responsible for supporting site inspections, audits, investigations, risk assessments, permit-to-work processes, contractor management, and workforce engagement initiatives.
Key Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification.
* Previous experience in an HSE, Health & Safety, or similar advisory role.
* Strong knowledge of risk assessments, safe systems of work, and compliance requirements.
* Confident communicator with the ability to challenge unsafe behaviours positively.
* Excellent reporting, investigation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
