SEND Keyworker (Contract) – Cheshire East

Join We Do Social Work

We Do Social Work is looking for an experienced SEND Keyworker to join Cheshire East Council on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong SEND experience to manage a caseload of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), coordinate statutory assessments, and work collaboratively with families, schools and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.

Coordinate statutory SEND assessments and annual reviews.

Develop, review and amend Education, Health and Care Plans.

Work closely with families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies.

Support placement planning and represent the Local Authority where required.

We're looking for candidates with:

Experience working within SEND services and the EHCP process.

Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.

Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.

Experience working with children, young people and families in a multi-agency environment.
