Job Title: Admin Support
Location: Heavitree Hospital, Gladstone Road, EX12ED
Trust: Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust
Payrate: Band 2, £12.92 per hour
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday- Week Days (can be flexible between the hours of 7am-5pm (7.5 Hours a Day) (37.5 Hours per week)
Duration: Start: ASAP End date: 12 Months
Job Summary
General admin support for a busy office working closely with the Referrals team, OPA Bookings team, the Clinic Prep team and the Family History team within the South West Clinical Genetics department to complete everyday admin tasks such as:
* Registering patients.
* Completing spine checks.
* Adding referrals to the system.
* Checking appointment booking lists on the NHS e-referral system to identify referrals that have been triaged and closing them down as appropriate.
* Reviewing internal reports and checking whether patients are already known on our in-house Genetics Database, Phenotips.
* Printing labels ready for clinics
* Requesting notes from other hospitals.
* Emailing clinic lists to external clinic venues.
* Collecting, tracking and filing patient notes.
* Managing and actioning telephone messages.
* Creating and Photocopying clinic sheets.
* Opening post and scanning into the appropriate database
