Our client is a large national charity that has a well-established education and training programme, which is looking for someone to help assess and support the students on their arboriculture apprenticeship courses.

The work is hybrid, with a combination of working from home and face-to-face meetings with students in the work place during the course.

Our client is looking for candidates with at least 5 years of working in arboriculture in order you to be able to support and advise the students. As such this would be the ideal role for someone who is looking to come off the tools and is looking to help nuture the next generation of tree surgeons and arborists.

Requirements:

- minimum 5 years of working in the arboriculture industry

- formal arb qualifications e.g. level 2/3/4, NPTCs

- proficient in the use of IT, including MS Teams, and be able to assess student work using their ePortolio software

- full UK driving licence

- good organisational skills

- training or teaching experience, whether formally or informally

Benefits:

- salary of £28k pa or £32k pa, the latter for those who have taught/instructed/mentored arb before
