A government department in the Liverpool area is looking for a skilled HR Administrator to support a busy directorate to provide efficient and effective people services to both an internal and external audience. Your new role
You will be based in a fast-paced human resources team, where you will be expected to manage a high volume of work. Your duties will include but aren't limited to: Supporting the full employee life cycle, preparing HR data for monthly reporting, preparing induction packs and delivering induction programmes, maintaining and analysing absence data, booking and organising external training courses, maintaining training records, preparing employment contracts and attending confidential meetings and producing notes. You will be heavily embedded in recruitment operations and will assist in end-to-end recruitment operations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a good communicator where being you are able to converse across all levels alongside demonstrating an enthusiastic and proactive work ethic. You will be eager to produce high quality work and show a keen eye for detail to ensure there are no errors being processed. You will have a positive outlook and always be looking for ways in which you can be busy. You will have recent senior administration experience and knowledge of HR processes. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience dealing with confidential and sensitive situations, as well as supporting busy recruitment campaigns! You will be a strong system user with experience across the Microsoft365 suite. Due to the nature of the organisation, you must be able to commit to12 month period, and be in a position to clear BPSS vetting, including a DBS check.
What you'll get in return
You will have the opportunity to join a well-established and busy team for a period of 12 months initially. You will be based in Bootle for 2-3 days per week and be able to enjoy hybrid working once training has completed. You will have a generous hourly rate of £13.50ph - £14.25ph DOE + holiday pay. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours) which requires a DBS for the successful candidate.
