Finance Manager– About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Head of Finance, and you will be required to oversee a small finance team. The ideal candidate would have come from a medium-large company background and possess strong technical accounting skills. Your key responsibilities will be:
Supporting with the full preparation & production of the monthly management accounts.
Lead and prepare the annual budget, providing full commentary to senior management.
Prepare financial reporting documentation in accordance with financial regulations.
Support the FD and finance function in financial processes to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
Support with the development and implementation of financial systems, processes and controls.
Co-ordinate information to support with the annual audit.
Ensure that all necessary statutory and other returns, reports and documentation are completed.
Providing both technical and motivational leadership to finance staff.
The successful Finance Manager will have:
Previous experience in a similar role
A full ACA/ACCA/CIMA accounting qualification
Experience in a medium-large sized organisation
Strong technical accounting skills
High level of attention to detail
