We are seeking an experienced Repairs Manager to lead the delivery of housing disrepair, HHSRS compliance, and damp and mould services across its housing portfolio.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, protecting tenant health and safety, and driving high-quality repairs services in line with Awaab's Law.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the management of housing disrepair cases, including pre- and post-litigation processes.
Ensure compliance with HHSRS, housing legislation, and Awaab's Law.
Oversee the diagnosis, remediation, and prevention of damp and mould.
Manage internal teams, contractors, and consultants delivering repairs and compliance works.
Monitor service performance, budgets, KPIs, and compliance.
Work closely with legal teams, surveyors, housing colleagues, and residents to deliver excellent outcomes.
Produce reports for senior management and support audits and regulatory inspections.
About You
You'll have:
Significant experience managing housing repairs, disrepair, or property compliance services.
Strong knowledge of HHSRS, housing legislation, and damp and mould management.
Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
A relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, Housing, or a related discipline (RICS/CIOB membership desirable).
