Are you an organised and customer-focused administrator looking to join a specialist marine business?
Our client is an established marine company based in Poole, Dorset, looking for a Sales Administrator to provide vital support to their sales team and ensure a smooth customer journey from enquiry through to delivery.
This is a varied role within a close-knit team environment, offering the opportunity to work within a specialist technical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling customer enquiries via phone and email, providing a professional and helpful service
Preparing quotations and processing sales orders accurately
Liaising with customers regarding order progress, delivery updates and queries
Managing customer accounts, sales opportunities and pipeline tracking through Salesforce CRM
Maintaining accurate sales records and customer information
Supporting the Sales Manager with day-to-day sales administration
Assisting with ISO 9001 processes and maintaining sales proceduresYou will have previous experience within sales administration, customer service or a similar support role, with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. You’ll be a confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner, comfortable liaising with customers and supporting internal teams. Experience using CRM systems to manage customer records, quotations and sales activity is preferred, with Salesforce experience being advantageous. While marine, engineering or technical industry experience would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
