Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible supply basis across a range of nurseries, children's centres and early years settings throughout the London Borough of Haringey.

Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, term-time only, or year-round work, we can offer opportunities to fit around your availability while allowing you to gain experience in a variety of early years environments.

The Role

As a Supply Early Years Practitioner, you will:

Support children aged 0–5 years in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based activities
Assist with observations and daily nursery routines
Work collaboratively with nursery staff and families
Support children with SEND where required
Provide personal care, including toileting and feeding where necessary
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, children's centre, or early years setting
A good understanding of the EYFS framework
Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable but not essential
Experience using nursery systems such as Tapestry is beneficial
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
A current Safeguarding certificate or willingness to complete training
The right to work in the UK
