Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Join Our Engineering Team
We are seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our busy maintenance department. You'll play a key role in ensuring our production equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently by carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
We have opportunities across a variety of shift patterns, offering flexibility to suit different lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
* Minimise downtime through effective fault finding and repair.
* Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
* Complete maintenance records accurately using the CMMS.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability.
* Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to maintain operational performance.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
* Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
* PLC fault-finding experience.
* Knowledge of conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
* 18th Edition electrical qualification.
* Welding or fabrication experience.
