About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Client Manager to join a growing accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional who enjoys working closely with clients, leading a team, and providing a high standard of accounting, tax, and advisory services.
As Client Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted adviser while ensuring compliance work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will review work prepared by the wider team, identify opportunities to add value, and build long-lasting client relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, becoming their main point of contact and developing a strong understanding of their businesses and objectives. Alongside overseeing the delivery of accounts and tax compliance, you will provide practical, commercially focused advice and identify opportunities to support clients as their businesses grow.
A key part of the role is reviewing work completed by junior team members, ensuring high technical standards are maintained while coaching and developing the team. You will also manage workflow, prioritise deadlines, and work closely with colleagues to ensure an excellent level of service is delivered across the practice.
As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to the continued growth of the business by identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships and supporting wider business development initiatives where appropriate.
