The Role

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Inspire students to explore design, innovation, creativity and problem-solving.
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
Assess, track and monitor pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
Foster a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed.
Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and classroom engagement.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the department.
Maintain safe working practices within specialist workshop and practical teaching environments.

We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards QTS.
Possess strong subject knowledge in Design Technology.
Have experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
Be passionate about practical learning and student achievement.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Be able to motivate, challenge and inspire students of varying abilities.
Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
