We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Godalming. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their individual learning goals.

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Is caring, empathetic, and patient.

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Can build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.

Is adaptable, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure.

Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).

Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or is willing to undertake training (desirable).
