Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns across a busy manufacturing facility. You will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, complete routine inspections, install and commission new components, and ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded using the company's maintenance management system. Working closely with production, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving equipment performance and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Person
The successful candidate will be a time-served or qualified engineer with previous maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing or production environment. You will possess strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery, while experience with conveyor systems would be advantageous. You will be a proactive problem solver with a strong health and safety focus, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative engineering team.
