We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide for the position of HGV Technician in Westbury, Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and professional workshop environment.

Career progression within a multi-award-winning dealer group operating over 50 yearsDuties of a HGV Technician:
Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance services
Maintain workshop inventory and ensure cleanliness
Assist in diagnosing vehicle faults and planning repairs with repair teams
Maintain accurate records of repairs using Keyloop/Kerridge software
Complete warranty claims and escalate issues as necessary
Conduct wheel alignments and tyre fitting
Complete customer documentation efficiently, adhering to time schedules
Ensure all work is carried out to high standards, contributing to team objectivesRequirements of a HGV Technician:
IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
At least 1 to 2 years of practical post-qualification experience
Strong team player with a commitment to quality work
Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
Motivated to meet targets and perform to high standards
