Project Quantity Surveyor (Office Fit-Out)
Location: Faversham and London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000+ package

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and highly regarded specialist contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the South East.
This is a fantastic chance to become part of a successful SME that has gained significant recognition within the construction industry and continues to secure prestigious projects. The business offers a collaborative, supportive team environment and the opportunity to work on high-profile schemes valued in excess of £10 million.
The successful candidate will initially support a major project in London, spending approximately 2-3 days per week on-site, with hybrid working available.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the commercial aspects of office fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets, valuations, and forecasts.
Pricing and tendering works packages.
Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontractor accounts.
Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
Managing variations, change control processes, and contractual matters.
Producing accurate financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
Strong background delivering Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects.
Experience working on commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes.
Demonstrable pricing and estimating capability.
Experience managing projects with values exceeding £10 million.
Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK driving Licence preferred.
