The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with ASD, helping them engage with lessons, build confidence, and achieve their individual learning goals. Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO, you will implement tailored support strategies that encourage academic progress, independence, and positive social interaction. The successful candidate will be patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with SEN. Previous experience working with pupils with ASD, SEMH, or other complex needs within a school environment is required.
