Pharmacy Group Operations Manager.
Location: Bristol | Bath | Gloucester (Field-based & Head Office)
Hours: Full-time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends
Essential Requirements
GPhC-registered Pharmacist with significant community pharmacy experience.
Multi-site leadership: Proven experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, or Multi-Site Pharmacy Manager.
Travel: Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel regularly across the regional pharmacy estate.
Skill set: Strong commercial awareness, leadership and coaching abilities, with a proven track record of driving both operational and clinical performance.

Working closely with the Directors, you will have genuine influence over operational strategy while overseeing approximately 10 - 15 community pharmacies. This role offers a unique balance of autonomy, strategic input, and team development, alongside an excellent work-life balance with no weekend working.
Key Responsibilities & KPIs
You will be accountable for the operational and commercial success of your region, with key responsibilities including:
Team leadership: Coach, motivate, and develop Pharmacy Managers and their teams to deliver outstanding patient care and continuous improvement.
Clinical and commercial performance: Drive performance across key services, including Pharmacy First, Hypertension/BP, NMS, Contraception, and Vaccinations.
Workforce management: Oversee pharmacist rotas, workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
Operational excellence: Resolve day-to-day challenges, improve efficiency, and maintain high standards of store presentation, merchandising, and prescription growth.
Structured Onboarding & Transition Plan
To ensure your long-term success, the business offers a highly structured integration process:
Quarter 3 2026: Join as a Pharmacy Branch Manager to gain a thorough understanding of the company's systems, culture, and operational standards.
Winter 2026/2027: Complete a comprehensive three-month handover with the outgoing group operations manager.
March 2027: Fully transition into the role of Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager.
