THE ROLE
As a Skilled & Qualified MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles. Working to manufacturer standards, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every vehicle is repaired safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible quality.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
·Carry out all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs on accident-damaged vehicles
·Strip and rebuild vehicles using manufacturer-approved repair methods
·Diagnose damaged components and identify any additional repair requirements
·Remove, replace, and refit vehicle mechanical, electrical, safety, and trim systems
·Carry out four-wheel alignment checks and adjustments where required
·Work confidently on modern vehicles, including hybrid and electric vehicles
·Work closely with Panel Technicians, Paint Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Workshop Controllers to ensure efficient vehicle progression
·Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer repair methods, BS10125 standards, and company procedures

Quality & Safety Standards:
·Protect customer vehicles throughout every stage of the repair process
·Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practice
·Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements
·Maintain excellent housekeeping and workshop organisation
·Accurately report any additional damage or parts requirements
·Complete all repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining exceptional quality standards

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced, highly skilled, and qualified MET Technician who takes pride in delivering outstanding workmanship and consistently high repair standards.

·IMI and/or ATA Qualified MET Technician (preferred)
·Proven experience within a busy automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop
·Ability to carry out all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs independently
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems, ADAS, hybrid, and electric vehicles
·Experience carrying out vehicle diagnostics and four-wheel alignment
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering first-class workmanship
·Strong organisational and communication skills
·Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
·Excellent team player with a proactive attitude
·Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
