Do you have Chartered status (or are you working towards it) with extensive Civil & Structural design experience?
Have you delivered engineering projects within COMAH, petrochemical, oil & gas, chemical, energy or other heavy industrial environments?
Are you looking to join a major owner-operator where you'll lead complex brownfield and capital projects from concept through to delivery?
What's in it for you?
£80,000 - £90,000 basic salary
£8,416 car allowance
15% annual bonus
10% employer pension contribution, rising to 15% with service
25 days holiday, increasing with length of service

What will you be doing?
Leading Civil & Structural engineering activities across capital and maintenance projects
Producing and reviewing structural calculations, specifications and technical reports
Managing engineering design from concept through detailed design and construction support
Providing technical leadership to internal teams and external engineering contractors
Ensuring compliance with relevant design codes, standards and statutory requirements
Conducting site inspections, structural assessments and engineering reviews
Supporting project delivery, cost control, planning and risk management
Acting as the technical authority for Civil & Structural engineering on site
Where will you be doing it?
You'll be joining one of the UK's largest industrial manufacturing sites, supporting a wide range of brownfield improvement and capital investment projects. This is a highly varied role where you'll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant and reliable infrastructure across a complex process plant. This is a fully site-based position, offering the opportunity to be heavily involved throughout the full project lifecycle.
What will you need?
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards Chartership
Strong Civil & Structural design experience within heavy industrial environments
Experience working on COMAH, petrochemical, oil & gas, chemical, refinery, energy or similar process plants
Knowledge of relevant British Standards, Eurocodes and industry design standards
Experience managing engineering consultants and design contractors
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Full UK driving licence
