We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Continuous Improvement Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives, drive operational excellence, and embed a culture of high-performing teams across the site.
As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, the successful Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for delivering strategic improvement programmes, cost savings, and operational efficiencies while acting as the site's subject matter expert in Lean Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities for the Continuous Improvement Manager
Lead all Lean and Continuous Improvement activities across the site.
Drive the deployment and maturity of High-Performing Teams (HPTs) across all functions.
Deliver measurable business improvements and cost savings through Lean Sigma projects and improvement initiatives.
Lead Business Continuity and Risk Management activities across the site.
Coach and develop Green Belts while supporting Kaizen and A3 problem-solving activities.
Act as the key interface between the site and wider business on all Lean and improvement matters.
Analyse business processes and implement sustainable improvements that enhance productivity, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Support strategy deployment and ensure effective execution of site objectives.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Key Requirements for the Continuous Improvement Manager
Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager, Lean Manager, Site Lean Leader, Operational Excellence Manager, or similar leadership role within manufacturing.
Lean Sigma qualification essential; Black Belt highly desirable.
Strong track record of delivering measurable operational improvements and cost savings.
Manufacturing experience is essential, ideally within a high-mix, low-volume environment.
Previous experience leading cross-functional teams and driving cultural change.
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
