Senior Support Worker – Children's Residential Home (EBD)
Pay: £15.00–£16.00 per hour
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our Ofsted-registered EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Children's Home. This role involves supporting the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, and providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead shifts and support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager.
* Provide safe, nurturing, and person-centred care.
* Act as a Key Worker and promote positive outcomes for young people.
* Support behaviour management using a trauma-informed approach.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
* Supervise and mentor staff while promoting a positive team culture.
* Support daily routines, activities, medication, and household tasks.
Requirements:
* Experience in a children's residential or EBD setting.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's residential care.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
