Engineering Lead - Electrical

You would be leading the MEP/Electrical to interface with the client's representatives and the supply chain on site. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will work effectively with the project teams to review and manage the project from inception to handover.
You will be working within our Project Delivery team, supporting the successful execution of electrical systems on large-scale construction and data centre projects.

Your day will include:

Lead the delivery of all electrical works on the project from design through to commissioning and handover.

Coordinate electrical design, ensuring alignment with specifications, programme, and buildability requirements.

Manage and close out RFIs, technical submittals, and shop drawings in a timely manner.

Oversee electrical procurement, including subcontractor and supplier coordination.

Manage electrical subcontractors on site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

Monitor progress against programme and proactively address risks, delays, and constraints.

Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for electrical activities.

Implement and manage quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and snagging.

Coordinate with Electrical, CSA, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

Support commercial management of the electrical scope, including tracking variations and cost impacts.

Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Project Manager and Project Director.

Lead and support electrical commissioning activities to ensure systems are fully operational.

Ensure completion of all handover documentation, including O&M manuals and as-built drawings.

What we are looking for:

Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience in similar role, proven track record in an Engineering role in the Construction industry.

CSCS card (or equivalent relevant site certification).

SMSTS or equivalent health & safety certification.

Management experience – ability to manage and lead a team.

**This position does involve travelling to other sites within Europe (Spain in the summer)!
