A leading manufacturer in the infrastructure / utilities / construction space is hiring a Business Development Manager to cover Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This is a high-impact territory role focused on driving growth through specification-led sales and project pipeline conversion.
The role
Reporting into the Sales lead, you will:
Deliver a territory strategy to achieve/exceed revenue and margin targets
Build and manage a strong project pipeline (specification through to order)
Develop relationships with consultants, contractors, utilities, merchants and public sector stakeholders
Run presentations, site visits and Lunch & Learn sessions to influence early-stage decisions
Forecast accurately, maintain CRM discipline and report on KPIs
About you
Proven BD/sales success in construction, infrastructure or utilities (B2B)
Strong track record in specification-led / project-based selling
Able to interpret technical drawings; commercially astute and well organised
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
HNC (Engineering/Business) minimum; Civil/Structural degree advantageous
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across NI & ROI
Utilities/framework exposure and CRM experience beneficial
