A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Industrial Spray Painter with expertise in applying protective coatings specific standards. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and apply industrial coatings to components and structures requiring C3 to C5 corrosion protection.
Operate a range of spray application equipment, including:
Airless spray systems
Air-assisted airless spray systems
Conventional pressure pot spray guns
Mix and apply two-pack coating systems, including epoxy primers, ensuring optimal adhesion, durability, and finish quality.
Carry out surface preparation, masking, and finishing activities to a high standard.
Inspect completed coatings and ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with company health and safety procedures.Candidate Requirements
Proven experience working as an Industrial Spray Painter within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
Strong practical experience using airless, air-assisted airless, and conventional pressure pot spray equipment.
Sound knowledge of two-pack paint systems and epoxy primers.
Experience applying coatings for C3 to C5 environmental classifications.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and work instructions.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong awareness of health and safety practices.Working Hours
This role is based on a 40-hour working week, with both day and afternoon shift patterns available:
Days
Monday to Friday
6:00am - 2:30pmAfternoons
Monday to Thursday
2:00pm - 12:30am
Includes a 20% shift allowanceThe business is closed on Bank Holidays and operates a Christmas shutdown period through to the New Year.
