An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Spray Painter to join a busy manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are prepared and painted to the highest quality standards, meeting customer specifications and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Mask, prepare, seal and spray paint heavy industrial power supply equipment and other metal products within paint spray booths, using the appropriate PPE.
Ensure all products are painted to the correct specification and quality standards.
Fit warranty tags where required.
Manage workloads effectively to ensure tasks are completed in line with production schedules.
Identify manufacturing issues and collaborate with colleagues to resolve incomplete or unclear information.
Maintain exceptional standards of quality, housekeeping, and workplace organisation.
Complete all production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional, helpful and positive approach when working with colleagues and stakeholders.
Be flexible to work additional or unsociable hours when required to meet operational demand.Beneficial Skills / Experience:

Proven experience preparing, spraying and painting metal products within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working collaboratively within a production or operations team.
Good communication skills.
Manual handling capability and awareness.
Ability to manage workload effectively and work to production deadlines.
Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime, weekends and nights during Experience painting heavy industrial products.
Experience using pressure pot and compressor spray systems.
FLT (Forklift Truck) licence.
Overhead Crane licence.
Experience working within a continuous improvement environment.Additional Information:

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Quarterly profit share scheme.
Two paid breaks per day.
Mon - Fri (Days) - Every other Friday off
