We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and reputable business in Southampton to recruit a Transport Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Arrange empty and loaded container restitutions with shipping lines and upload empty containers to the systems.

* Electronically file documentation within company asset folders.

* Answer incoming telephone calls and emails, responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.

* Liaise with drivers to provide support and resolve operational issues.

* Prepare and distribute weekly job packs for drivers.

* Produce and maintain customer KPI reports.

* Search, organise and file delivery Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.

* Monitor container landing times, check PINs and release information, and notify customers of any delays or issues.

* Monitor booking emails and input jobs that are not received.

* Process service and MOT documentation in line with industry standards and company procedures.

Previous Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience within a transport, logistics or supply chain environment.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems in a timely manner.

* Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

* Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
