iOS Mobile Engineer

£575 per day | Inside IR35 | Occasional travel to Manchester

We're looking for an experienced iOS Mobile Engineer to join a collaborative product team building high-quality mobile applications used by millions of users.

Working alongside Product Managers, Designers and Engineers, you'll help shape technical solutions from discovery through to delivery. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale consumer products, delivering robust native iOS applications using modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to shape solutions and deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Contribute to technical design, estimation and delivery planning.

• Build scalable, maintainable applications using modern iOS architecture patterns.

• Write clean, well-tested code with a strong focus on quality.

• Support applications throughout the full software life cycle, from development through to production.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.

• Participate in code reviews and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Skills

• Extensive commercial experience developing native iOS applications.

• Strong experience with Swift and SwiftUI.

• Strong understanding of modern iOS architecture patterns and state management.

• Experience building and maintaining large-scale mobile applications.

• Experience with asynchronous programming and modern Swift Concurrency.

• Strong testing mindset, including unit and UI testing.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Comfortable working within cross-functional product teams.

• Experience contributing to technical design, estimation and delivery planning.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
