Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Daily Rate: €550.00 - €650.00 (UMB/LTD/PAYE)
Contract Length: 6 months Rolling

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance platforms to support trading and investment operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities and ensure system reliability.
• Implement best practises in CI/CD, automation, and monitoring to streamline processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues swiftly.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Your Experience:

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role within a large corporate organisation.
• Very strong Java/Spring, CI/CD Pipelines, Linux/Unix & DB2 knowledge
• Strong proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Expertise in Scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with trading systems and investment banking workflows is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
