Car Compound Administrator
We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Car Compound Administrator to join a busy automotive operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment supporting vehicle logistics and stock management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring vehicle records, documentation, and movements are accurately managed while providing administrative support to the compound and transport teams.
Key Responsibilities
*
Maintain accurate records of vehicle arrivals, departures, and stock movements.
*
Update vehicle information using internal systems and databases.
*
Process vehicle documentation, delivery notes, and transport paperwork.
*
Schedule vehicle collections and deliveries with transport providers.
*
Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal departments regarding vehicle movements.
*
Monitor stock levels and assist with vehicle audits.
*
Investigate and resolve administrative discrepancies.
*
Produce reports and maintain filing systems.
*
Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally.
*
Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and industry standards.
Requirements
*
Previous administration experience, ideally within the automotive, logistics, transport, or fleet sector.
*
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
*
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy.
*
Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
*
Strong communication and customer service skills.
*
A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
*
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable Skills
*
Experience working within a vehicle compound, dealership, fleet, or logistics environment.
*
Knowledge of vehicle stock management systems.
*
Understanding of transport and vehicle administration processes.
